Hawk Time Schedule 

v  Track Members: Please turn in your track uniform as soon as possible.

v  Senior NHS members - please turn in your volunteer activity sheet and pick up your gold tassel for graduation from Mrs. Hermsen as soon as possible.  Junior NHS members - please turn in your volunteer activity sheet as soon as possible.

v  The final FBLA meeting of the year is Wednesday, May 16th at 7:30 am OR at 1:20 PM. Please join us for the end of year wrap-up and upcoming activities for next year. Applications for the 18-19 Recorder/Webmaster officer position are being accepted until 3:00 pm Friday, May 11th. A link to the application is on the HS website and on the WD FBLA website. There are still several FBLA t-shirts and BAA Awards/Pins that have not been picked up by paid members, too.

v  Seniors: if you are interested in buying a Graduation photo, please stop in the office and pick up an order form.

v  Are you and your family interested in hosting a foreign exchange student from France this summer?  See Mrs. Sandberg (room #250) for more information. 

v  Students who requested to take, or are interested in taking a PICC class during terms 1 or 2 of the 2018-2019 school year need to complete the PICC/PSEO registration forms by TODAY Tuesday, May 15th.  Forms are located in the Counseling office and need to be returned to the Counseling office by this deadline.  No late forms will be accepted.  For any questions, please contact Mrs. Piersch in the Counseling Office. 

v  UPCOMING ACT TESTING DATES: June 9th and July 14th. Please see the Counseling Office for registration information and deadline dates. 

v  JOB BOARD: There are local businesses and community members looking for high school students for help! These part time positions could lead to full time positions after high school. Also, your sponsor would be a great future reference for you as you apply for jobs, apply for scholarships and colleges, and not to mention looking great on your resume!

v  Northeast Iowa Career Learning Link (CLL) is a program that exposes

students to high-demand career areas and sets them on the pathway to

career and educational success beyond high school. The program provides

work-based learning opportunities for students in partnership with local

businesses. Students are able to start enrolling in the program between the Spring Semester of their Sophomore year and the Fall Semester of their Junior year.  Students who are interested in joining the program or who are currently involved in the program may meet with Holly Maurer in the ICN Room on the following dates: 

Tuesday, May 15, 8:00-11:30am 

Lunch Menu 

Today: Ham patty w/cheese, salad, cauliflower, mixed fruit, craisens, OJ/milk

Wednesday: Corn dog, sweet potato gems, peas, banana, applesauce, ice cream cup, OJ/milk
