1 Hour Hawk Time Schedule

v  If you missed picture day or need retakes, picture retake day is Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. Even if you are not purchasing pictures, please have them taken so you can be included in the yearbook 

v  We are looking for high school volunteers to help with an organized child care called "Kids Place" in the Lambert commons during parent/teacher conferences.  This will happen on Wednesday and Thursday, November 1st and 2nd from 2:30-6:30 each day. The young kids LOVE having high school volunteers.  If you are interested in helping, please sign up outside Mrs. Bramel’s door (Room 204).

v  Got Talent?  TADA is seeking groups & individuals to participate in the West Delaware's Got Talent! talent show on Friday, Oct 27.   Short, 3-4 minute performances are ideal.  Off-the-wall ideas are welcomed!   Audition times are Oct 17 & 19 from 3-5pm;   alternative dates/times can be arranged.    A sign-up sheet is located in the office.  

v  Any boy planning on going out for Boys Basketball, please sign-up in the High School Office.

v  Seniors: Are you checking out the High School Counseling website for scholarships? Check back frequently as new postings are being added as they become available.

v  Competitive? Like Science? West Delaware is gathering a team to compete against other schools in the Science Bowl. Contact Mrs. May for more details.

v  Anyone interested in being a Wrestling Cheerleader, here are the following practice times and Try Outs time

o   Mon 10/16   4:00-5:30/6:00 p.m. HS Wrestling Room

o   Tues 10/17  4:00-5:00 p.m. HS Wrestling Room

o   Tues 10/24  4:00-5:30/6:00 TRYOUTS HS Wrestling Room

v  Students: Don't forget to check out the Counseling Office's Job Board.

v  A representative from Hawkeye will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, October 19th at 1:15 for any interested junior or senior.

v  A representative from the University of Dubuque will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, October 19th at 9:35 to meet with any interested junior senior.

v  A representative from Mt. Mercy will be in the Counseling Office to meet with any interested junior or senior on Monday, November 6th at 9:35.

v  A representative from La James will be in the Counseling Office on Monday, November 6th at 1:15 for any interested junior or senior.

v  Northeast Iowa Career Learning Link (CLL) is a program that exposes

students to high-demand career areas and sets them on the pathway to

career and educational success beyond high school. The program provides

work-based learning opportunities for students in partnership with local

businesses. Students are able to start enrolling in the program between the Spring Semester of their Sophomore year and the Fall Semester of their Junior year.  Students who are interested in joining the program or who are currently involved in the program may meet with Holly Maurer in the ICN Room on the following dates:
