NO SCHOOL

Reminder: There is no school TODAY Wed, Oct. 4th, 2017 due to a teacher work day. 

v  All who are interested in going to the Thespian Festival please bring your paperwork filled out to Tina.  We will meet in the library as soon as school is out on Thursday.   I will only be there till 3:15 for questions and for the paperwork.  These all have to be sent in by next week.  Any questions text/call me at 563-920-0511. 

v  TADA members, please turn in your t-shirt money to Mrs. Naughton by Friday. 

v  The October meeting for TADA will be Wednesday, Oct 11 at 1:16 in room 210 

v  FCA will have a meeting this Sunday, October 8th, at Our Savior Lutheran Church at 7:00p.m.

v  Girls interested in going out for basketball, please sign up in the High School Office.

v  Anyone interested in being a Wrestling Cheerleader, here are the following practice times and Try Outs time

o   Sat 10/7      9:00-11:00 a.m. HS Wrestling Room

o   Mon 10/9     4:00-6:00 p.m.  HS Wrestling Room

o   Tues 10/10  4:00-6:00 p.m. HS Wrestling Room

o   Wed 10/11  4:00-6:00 p.m. HS Wrestling Room

o   Mon 10/16   4:00-6:00 p.m. HS Wrestling Room

v  NHS applications for membership are due Thursday, October 5th by 3:30 p.m.  An electronic copy and a paper copy, along with a letter of recommendation should be submitted to Mrs. Hermsen.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hermsen.

v  NHS meeting for current senior members will be held on Friday, October 6th at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Hermsen's room (234).  If you cannot attend the meeting, see Mrs. Hermsen prior to the meeting. 

v  Fields of Faith will be on October 11th, at 7:00pm on Brown Field. The guest speaker for the night will be Zach Blicken

v  Students: Don't forget to check out the Counseling Office's Job Board.

v  A representative from UNI will be in the counseling office Monday, October 9th at 1:15 pm to meet with any interested juniors or seniors.

v  A representative from the University of Dubuque will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, October 19th at 9:35 to meet with any interested junior senior.

v  A representative from Hawkeye will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, October 19th at 1:15 for any interested junior or senior.

v  A representative from Mt. Mercy will be in the Counseling Office to meet with any interested junior or senior on Monday, November 6th at 9:35.

v  A representative from La James will be in the Counseling Office on Monday, November 6th at 1:15 for any interested junior or senior.

v  Northeast Iowa Career Learning Link (CLL) is a program that exposes

students to high-demand career areas and sets them on the pathway to

career and educational success beyond high school. The program provides

work-based learning opportunities for students in partnership with local

businesses. Students are able to start enrolling in the program between the Spring Semester of their Sophomore year and the Fall Semester of their Junior year.  Students who are interested in joining the program or who are currently involved in the program may meet with Holly Maurer in the ICN Room on the following dates:
