Bells:  Starting yesterday morning and running through Monday, Student Council will be hiding 5 bells throughout the school.  If you find one, bring it to the High School Office.  Then at the end of the day you can pick up Gatorade or water from Ms. Osborne in Room 134. You can find one bell per day, and win twice in the four days.  All “prizes” must be claimed by the end of the day Tuesday, before leaving for Winter Break.  

Are you in the mood for some holiday goodies? FCCLA is raising money for the victims of the attacks in Paris by selling treats after school TODAY, tomorrow and Mon. Dec. 22. You can select from decorated cut out cookies, dipped Oreo ornaments, Rice Krispie treats, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks or cake balls. All items will be $.50 a piece and can be purchased in the Foods lab 2:55-3:15 each day. Contribute to a good cause and end your day with a treat or two.

State champion volleyball clothing order forms are available in the high school office.  Forms are due back Tuesday, Dec 22nd.

Seniors: Deadline for early graduation requests is January 5, 2016.  Early Graduation Request forms are available in the high school counseling office.

ACT: Students who wish to sign up for February 6, 2016, ACT, the test sign up deadline is Friday, January 8, 2016. Please see Guidance for further details.

Seniors:  Please continue to check out Scholarships on the WD home page. Take special note of the updates listed.

FBLA Members: We're making Holiday cards for residents at the Good Neighbor Home, Meadows and the Penn Center. Each FBLA members is required to make two cards. You can make them at home or in Ms. Bramel's room any day after school this week, or on Monday 12/21. Cards are due by the end of the school day, Tuesday 12/22. We're also working on BAA Awards after school this week so join us for yummy snacks & get your Future Award done! Questions? Feel free to ask Ms. Bramel or any FBLA officers. 

NHS Members - We need 12 members to sign up to go Christmas caroling at the Meadows Assisted Living and the Good Neighbor Home on Sunday, December 20th.  Sign-up sheet is on Mrs. Hermsen's door.


Marines - TODAY:  A recruiter from the Marines will be in the commons during all lunches.

Hat Day - Tomorrow:  Bring one can of food to the commons Friday morning to get your sticker to wear your hat for the day.

Ugly Sweater Day - Tuesday, Dec. 22

FCCLA - Monday, Dec. 21: The next FCCLA meeting will be at 7:30 in the Foods room. All current or pondering members are encouraged to attend. We will be making final plans for sewing baby blankets on Dec. 29, deciding on future service projects, and discussing plans for the district meeting.

College Financial Aid Presentation: The West Delaware High School Guidance Department, along with the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County and ICAN will be hosting a financial aid presentation for juniors, seniors and their parents. The presentation will be led by a representative of Iowa College Access Network on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 5:30 PM in Hanson Auditorium. An overview of the financial aid process along with information about the FAFSA form will be presented.
