Tomorrow’s lunch is:

 

French toast sticks, sausage patty, baked potato rounds, oranges or fruit slushie, and milk.

 

Weatherboard:

 

Tomorrow there will be a high of 41 and a low of 39 and the forecast shows there will be showers.

 

Announcements:

 

The “store” will be available during lunch time on Tuesday. Bring your tickets.

 

Starting this Wednesday (16th), WDHS Student Council will be conducting a food drive to support the Delaware County Food Pantry. There will be two pick-ups at the elementary and middle school: one on Thursday (17th) after school, and the other on Monday, (21st) after school. Students will stop in your room, count the cans, and then will collect them. The classroom/homeroom that brings in the most items by Monday at 3:00 pm wins a free breakfast pizza party, courtesy of Student Council.

Health Fact:

 

Cardiovascular exercise should be the last thing you do at the gym because it helps your body recover by increasing blood flow to the muscles, and flushing out lactic acid, which builds up in the muscles while you’re weight training. It’s the lactic acid that makes your muscles feel stiff and sore.
