West Delaware Middle School staff has committed themselves to the philosophy that Positive Behavior Interventions Support (PBIS) mission will promote long-term responsible and appropriate student behavior. Who better to help this mission than our students themselves? We are looking for responsible students who want to become apart of a Youth PBIS Team to assist in giving he students a voice within our schools.  We currently plan on meeting twice a month. Throughout the year, we will be asking our Youth PBIS Team to help plan activities such as Red Ribbon Week, Spirit Week, Mix-It-Up-Lunch Day, Assemblies as well as enlisting their ideas for creative ways to recognize positive behavior in our school.  If you are interested in becoming a member of WDEY, please let your homeroom teacher know by this Friday, September 25th. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Soppe.

Any student wanting to volunteer to promote Red Ribbon Week on KMCH by writing a paragraph about how leading a Drug Free life is important to you?  The paragraph will be read and recorded then broadcast during Red Ribbon Week in October.  Any middle school student interested please pick up a form to fill out with Mrs. Hawker in the Media Center.  The forms are due back on Sept. 30th so we can arrange for KMCH to come and record you.  Any questions please see Mrs. Hawker.
